In recent news, Doe Deere sat down with Galore Magazine to not only talk about the success of her company, but also discuss the history of how her company came to be a popular internet brand.
Doe Deere is a businesswoman and a creator that officially started Lime Crime in 2008. This makeup brand offers customers with bright hues that can be applied to the cheeks, the eyes, as well as to the lips. As an artist and as a successful businesswoman, Doe Deere has received a spot on Self-Made magazine’s list of Top Inspiring Female Entrepreneurs. During this interview with Galore magazine, the interviewer was curious as to where Doe Deere got her inspiration to combine creativity with the business.
Doe Deere responded to this inquiry by stating that she has always been interested in makeup and bright colors even at a young age. Doe Deere was always the lucky individual who always new what she wanted to do. At the age of nine, Doe Deere distinctly remembers playing with her friends and dressing up in bright colors. As a final touch, Doe Deere would always finish the look off with some of her mother’s bright makeup. Though Doe Deere was not a makeup expert at the age of nine, she has many found memories that include her creative bug. Doe Deere adds that she feels as though she has cheated with her career as she loves every aspect of her business career.
During this interview with Galore magazine, the interviewer was also curious as to why Doe Deere formed her company as an internet-based brand name. Doe Deere responded that this business decision was to make her company centered around the customers. With each product, she is able to receive quick feedback that gives either complements or criticism. This has kept Doe Deere humble and her products of high quality.
